As temperatures drop, so do outdoor events. Nevertheless, we were happy that our returnable cups could accompany visitors to several significant October celebrations – whether in Pilsen, Brno or Prague.
PILSNER FEST
Traditionally, the first weekend of October in Pilsen was marked by the celebration of beer. The Plzeňský Prazdroj brewery came alive again with live music, excellent food and multi-genre culture. The music program featured well-known names such as Buty, Xindl X, Hundred Animals, Top Dream Company and Monkey Business, who performed on one of the two festival stages. Visitors were able to experience the music and atmosphere of the festival without having to reach for disposable cups, which helped to reduce the amount of waste at the event.
OKTOBERFEST BRNO
The eighth year of Oktoberfest was held at Zelné trhu in Brno, where Bavarian culture and beer were celebrated. Six types of beer directly from the breweries participating in the Munich Oktoberfest awaited the visitors. The traditional beer festivities were enriched with our returnable cups, which underlined the direction towards sustainability at this local festival as well.
DARKSHIRE MONASTERY & CHURCH FESTIVAL
On Friday, October 11, the Darkshire Monastery & Church Festival took place in Prague’s Gabriel Loci Monastery. This electronic music festival was held in the unique premises of the monastery, which gave the event a special atmosphere. Here, too, we had the opportunity to provide a more ecological environment for visitors using our returnable cups.
ANNUAL OFFSITE TEAMBUILDING
In October, we also met at our traditional offsite teambuilding meeting, this time at Smrčka. We devoted this time not only to evaluating the past season, but also to developing team spirit and getting to know each other better. Using intuitive games, we got closer to our colleagues and set ambitious goals for 2025.
The returnable cups also made their way to several important events in October, thus supporting an ecological approach to entertainment even in the colder months.
