August has been quite a ride for us! 🚀 Drinks were served in our returnable cups at a lot of great events. See where we helped reduce single-use plastics everywhere:
– LET IT ROLL 🎶🌍 – This largest drum and bass festival in the country was an eco-pioneer back in 2014 when it was one of the first to introduce returnable cups. This year we joined their own GREEN program, which seeks to minimize waste and promote sustainability. Bass and ecology? They go together!
– Prague Pride 🏳️🌈❤️ – Love, tolerance and cups that don’t create waste. Over 100,000 of you came to the festival this year and we’re glad we could help create a more sustainable backdrop for such a great and colourful event.
– Healing Festival 🧘♀️🌿 – In the heart of nature, with respect for the environment and our hot cups in hand. Harmony of body and planet guaranteed!
– Burger festival 🍔 – A great burger and a drink from NICKNACK? Everything tastes even better without disposable packaging.
– Love stream 🎤💖 – Love and music flowed just like the beer from our returnable cups. At this event we enjoyed concerts by world class stars like 50 CENT, Rita Ora, Macklemore and Tiesto. An event full of passion, great music and an eco-friendly attitude.
– Kravařský odpust 🎡 – As the holidays enter their second half and the “cold mornings” begin again, the locals prepare for a big celebration – Kravařský odpust. This more than century-old tradition of celebrating St Bartholomew, the patron saint of the local parish church, takes place every year on 24 August. The streets of Kravaře are alive with both the spiritual and the secular – from the masses to the merry-go-rounds and stalls where you can drink your fill. 🎠🍻 The second largest event of its kind in the Czech Republic, after the Matějská pilgrimage!
– Trutnoff 🎪 – The atmosphere at this legendary festival was as iconic as our eco-friendly cups. Good old Trutnoff did not disappoint!
Thanks to all the organisers and participants for a great collaboration and we look forward to more events together!
